Every year two auctions of poplars are held in Zamora nationwide by private owners. This initiative aims to obtain interesting economic results for owners in a certainly opaque market.
At the same time it seeks to consolidate the conditions of sale, to guarantee the collection of the product, the replacement of damages, etc.
For this, from ASFOBUR, the cubing and evaluation of the poplar wood lot according to the criteria of the Duero Hydrographic Confederation is carried out previously.
