The Asociation

ASFOBUR (Association of Forest Owners of Burgos) is a non-profit organization that is composed of forest owners from the entire province of Burgos.
The Association was formed in 1989, and gradually increased its activities until the final takeoff that occurred in 2000 due to the support of the Junta de Castilla y León. ASFOBUR currently consists of about 600 members, and manages more than 25,000 has populated with slow-growing species and about 700 has of poplar.

INFORM and advise the private forest owner.
INTEGRATE in the regional forestry associative network through the Federation of Forestry Associations of Castilla y León (FAFCYLE).
BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Forestry Association of Burgos is managed and represented by a Board of Directors formed by: a President, one or more Vice Presidents, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and a number of Members no higher than ten.
In the Extraordinary General Assembly of partners the current Board of Directors was agreed:
